What is scrape tartar?
Scrape tartar is a method to clean hard dental plaque, prevent dangerous diseases caused by tartar. Tartar (also known as calculus) is plaque & excess food that sticks to the teeth and gums. Over time, these plaque becomes calcified. You can not clean them by regular oral hygiene but requires the intervention of specialized dental equipment.
Why do we need to scrape tartar?
